RingCentral is reasonably well equipped with Canadian based phone numbers. From a quick search of cities across Canada, we can find local numbers to available to most of the major metropolitan areas in the country, and to all provinces with the exception of Prince Edward Island (Moncton and Halifax / Dartmouth numbers are the closest available).
Users will find that coverage is good but not perfect, for example at the time of writing, Saskatchewan users have the choice of numbers from Regina but not Saskatoon, Ontario users have the choice of numbers for Grimsby, Kanata, or Tecumseh, but not for Thunder Bay (Sudbury / North Bay / Sault Ste. Marie Numbers are available), BC users have options such as Chemanius and Whonnock, but no Kelowna or Kamloops, while New Brunswick users have Moncton numbers available but no Fredericton or St. John options. The majority of area codes have coverage, however specific cities may be limited.

As well, it is likely that information faxed through the service between two Canadian fax numbers could pass through servers located outside of Canada. While we have found no Tier 1 service that offers “Canadian only” server infrastructure, we feel that this is an important note for Canadian customers, and a feature to the service we think would be beneficial to Canadian customers in the future.

RingCentral customer service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and therefore available to all hours convenient to both Pacific and Atlantic coast customers.
RingCentral offers some good options for Canadian based users, and in most scenarios works out as the best fit for Canadians looking for a low to mid volume fax number with Canada focused service.
While the service is Canadian branded, billed in Canadian currency, and has features directed at Canadian users, consumers should still be aware this is, at its core, still a US based service.
