A fax server is a computer that acts as a fax machine and is accessed by multiple users in an organization.
Usage
An online fax service is an example of a type of a fax server. An online fax service would better be called a “cloud fax.” The term “fax server” is usually used within larger organizations.
A corporate fax server is an example of a type of fax server. In this environment, users in the organization log onto the fax server to send and receive faxes.
